Career Life Connections 12

Career Life Connections 12 (CLC 12) is a mandatory British Columbia graduation course that helps students explore personal interests, skills, and goals, applying self-knowledge to future education, work, and life pathways through self-reflection, community networking, and a required 30+ hour experiential learning component (work/volunteer), culminating in a Capstone project and presentation.

This course focuses on career-life management, including financial literacy, employability skills, self-advocacy, and building social capital, all to prepare for successful transitions after high school

The Foundation Language Arts (FLA) courses lead to English 11 and English 12.

Please note that an English assessment is now required for all new students who wish to register for a Foundation Language Arts/English course (including introductory level)

You will need to take an English assessment if:

(1) this is your first time taking an English course with us and you have not completed English 10 in Canada; OR

(2) it has been more than two years since you last took a Foundations Language Arts (FLA) course with us, you must take the English assessment.
