Foundation Language Arts (English Courses)

Series of class-based, teacher-led English courses to prepare students for higher level academic English courses. Designed for students to improve their speaking, listening, vocabulary, fluency, conversation, comprehension and writing skills.

The General Academics / Humanities category offers flexible, blended online high school credit courses for students completing their diploma or upgrading their BC Transcript of Grades. Courses are available during the day and evening and are free for eligible BC residents.

Foundations English Level 1

Foundations English Level 1 is a skill-building course designed to support students in developing essential English language and literacy skills. Through progressive levels of instruction, students strengthen reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities while building confidence, communication skills, and strategies for academic success across subject areas.
