Richmond Virtual School

Richmond Virtual School offers a variety of grades 10 through 12 high school credit courses using a blended model of instruction. Students generally meet with their teacher once per week for semester courses and once every two weeks for linear courses. Our completion rates are significantly higher than traditional online schools due to the face-to-face meetings which allow our teachers and students to make a personal connection.

20th CENTURY WORLD HISTORY 12 RVS Semester 2

20th Century World History 12 explores the major conflicts, movements, and transformations that shaped the modern world. Students critically examine global and Canadian history through themes such as authoritarianism, revolution, human rights, global conflict, social change, and the impact of technology and media on society.

Literary Studies 11 invites students to explore literature in greater depth by examining diverse texts across genres, cultures, and time periods. Through fiction and non-fiction in various media, students will analyze themes, authors, and perspectives from Canada and around the world.
