English 11 Literary Studies RVS Semester 2

Literary Studies 11 will allow you to delve more deeply into literature. Students can explore specific themes, periods, authors, or areas of the world through literary works (fiction and non-fiction) in a variety of media. Possible areas of focus could include literature by era, genre-specific studies (poetry, short stories, novels, drama, graphic novels, children’s literature), world literature, feminist literature, Canadian literature, First Peoples texts, specific author studies.

 

Literary Studies 11 invites students to explore literature in greater depth by examining diverse texts across genres, cultures, and time periods. Through fiction and non-fiction in various media, students will analyze themes, authors, and perspectives from Canada and around the world.

English 10 and minimum of ESL 4 completed.
